Breathable water repellent for walls and surfaces
AQUA-REPEL prevents water penetration into the surface of masonry, brick, stone etc with the added benefit of letting the surface breathe. Use AQUA-REPEL as a liquid stone waterproofer, brick waterproofer or waterproofer where the underlying surface needs to breathe.
AQUA-REPEL protects masonry from frost by not allowing water to penetrate and it impedes growth of algae and moss too. It stops water and driving rain getting in and stops heat loss through your walls. It lets the treated surface breathe allowing moisture vapour inside to evaporate whilst protecting against water penetration and damage.
AQUA-REPEL is colourless so doesn’t change the appearance of the treated masonry. It has a long lasting effect – normally in excess of 10 years and is water based and safe to use near animals and plants.
AQUA-REPEL is best applied by low pressure sprayer in sufficient quantity to penetrate the masonry. Liberally apply Aqua-Repel to saturate the surface so that it can be seen to be absorbed into the surface to form an invisible waterproofing effect.

How to Step-by-Step
- Read the Factsheet 2013-03-fact-sheet-aqua-repel
- Ensure the wall or surface is free of dirt and anything which will stop AQUA-REPEL soaking in.
- Adjacent areas such as glass, metal, etc. should be covered to avoid over-spray.
- Stir well and apply using a sprayer so that you get an even coating, just enough to wet up the wall surface. Can be brushed on if no sprayer available.
- Allow it to soak in and dry for at least couple of hours before getting it wet – so look out for a dry spell before applying.
- One coat is often enough, although another coat can be applied for more porous bricks, stone and masonry.
- Clean up wet product with soap and water or dried product with white spirit.
